Brief statement about how the McNair Scholars Program helped you get where you are today.
McNair has been incredibly helpful in preparing me for graduate studies via GRE preparation, providing resources for summer research, and helping me understand the graduate school application process, among other things.
Any advice for new McNair Scholars?
It may seem like a lot of work at first, but don't give up. Realize that the experiences you are getting are experiences others pay lots of money to get and it all will help you get where you want to be. Also take advantage of the re sources that are available to you (i.e. mentors, free tutors, etc...)
